Privacy Policy & Terms of Use
How these tools handle your data, and the terms under which they are provided. Plain-language summaries are in the grey boxes; the full terms follow.
1. Who this applies to
This Policy governs your use of the website at marketingtoolstack.app and every tool, page, and feature on it (the "Site" and the "Tools"), operated by Amit Gupta ("we," "us," "our"). It combines our Privacy Policy (Part A) and our Terms of Use, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability (Part B). If you do not agree with any part of it, do not use the Tools.
Part A, Privacy Policy
A1. What we collect, and what we don't
We do not require or create accounts, and we do not ask you for personal information to use the Tools. We do not run web analytics, advertising pixels, session recorders, or third-party tracking cookies. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data, because we do not collect it in the first place.
A2. How the Tools process your content
The Tools are client-side: when you upload, drop, paste, or type content (including images, PDFs, Word/text documents, URLs, copy, and numbers), that content is processed by code running in your browser, on your device. Your files are not transmitted to us or to any third party and are not stored on our servers. When you close or refresh the tab, in-memory content is discarded.
A3. Local storage on your device
Some Tools save small amounts of data in your browser's localStorage so a
feature can work or remember your preferences (for example, recent edits in the Image
Studio, or a tool's last-used settings). This data stays on your device, is not visible to
us, and is not transmitted anywhere. Where the Image Studio saves recent edits, those
entries are automatically purged after 60 days. You can delete all of it
at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this Site.
A4. Cookies
We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. localStorage (described above)
is a separate browser feature used only for the Tools' own functionality and is never used
to track you across sites.
A5. The one server-side exception, "Audit a URL"
The Landing Page Audit tool can audit a public web page you specify by its URL. Because browsers block reading another site's content directly, when you choose this mode the URL you enter is sent to our server function, which fetches that public page and returns its HTML to your browser for analysis. We do not require this, it only happens when you actively paste a URL and run a URL audit. We do not intentionally store the URLs you submit; like virtually all web hosting, transient request logs may exist (see A6). Do not submit URLs that contain private tokens or that you are not authorized to access.
A6. Hosting, CDN, and fonts (third parties that may see your IP)
Operating any website necessarily involves a few infrastructure providers. When your browser loads the Site or certain resources, those providers may receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the request:
- Vercel (hosting/CDN) serves the Site and runs the audit function in section A5. Vercel may keep short-lived operational and security logs. See Vercel's privacy documentation for details.
- Cloudflare cdnjs delivers the open-source libraries some Tools use (e.g. the PDF engine). Your browser requests these files directly from that CDN.
- Google Fonts is used by the Font Pairing tool to preview real fonts; that tool loads fonts from Google, which may receive your IP for those requests. Other pages do not depend on Google Fonts to function.
We do not control these third parties' own data practices and are not responsible for them; they process data as independent providers under their own policies.
A7. Children
The Site is intended for a general, professional audience and is not directed to children. It is not intended for anyone under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.
A8. International users
The Site is hosted on infrastructure that may be located in the United States and other regions. Because the Tools run in your browser and we do not collect personal data, there is no personal-data transfer by us. By using the Site you understand that any technical request information described in A5–A6 is handled by the relevant providers in their regions.
A9. Your choices and rights
Because we do not hold accounts or personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control: you can clear your browser's local data for this Site at any time, decline to use the URL-audit feature, and stop using the Tools whenever you wish. If a specific privacy law grants you rights, contact us (Section 13) and we will respond as required by applicable law.
A10. Security
Keeping your content in your browser, rather than uploading it, is itself a privacy and security benefit. That said, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and your browser, device, extensions, and network are outside our control. You are responsible for the security of your own device and for keeping your own backups of any files you value.
Part B, Terms of Use, Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
B1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using any Tool on the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this entire Policy (Parts A and B). If you are using the Tools on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Tools.
B2. The Tools are provided "as is"
The Tools, the Site, and all content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Tools will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purpose.
B3. No professional advice
The Tools provide automated, general-purpose outputs only. Nothing produced by the Site, including SEO/AEO scores, audits, ROI or statistical calculations, A/B-test verdicts, AI-writing assessments, generated copy, schema, document conversions, or PDF edits, is professional, legal, financial, medical, tax, or other expert advice. Do not rely on any output as a substitute for qualified professional judgment. Independently verify anything important before acting on it.
B4. Accuracy, errors, and your responsibility to verify
Automated tools can and do make mistakes. Conversions and edits may alter, omit, or mis-handle content; calculations and analyses are estimates based on simplified assumptions; generated text may be wrong or unsuitable. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying every output before using it, and for keeping independent backups of your original files. For sensitive operations in particular, for example redacting a PDF, you must independently confirm the result meets your requirements before sharing or relying on it. We are not responsible for content that was not properly removed, transformed, or protected.
B5. Your content and acceptable use
You retain all rights to the content you process with the Tools; we claim no ownership of it. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to use, upload, and process that content, and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right. You agree not to use the Tools: (a) for any unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful purpose; (b) to process content you are not authorized to access; (c) to disrupt, attack, reverse-engineer, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its infrastructure; (d) to remove or circumvent protections; or (e) in any way that could harm us or any third party. You are solely responsible for your use of the Tools and for compliance with all laws that apply to you.
B6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Amit Gupta or anyone associated with the Site be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business, or files, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Tools or the Site, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other theory, and even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Tools or the Site will not exceed USD $100 or the amount you paid us to use the Tools (which is normally zero), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations; in those places, the limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.
B7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Amit Gupta from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use or misuse of the Tools, your content, or your violation of this Policy or any law or third-party right.
B8. Third-party links and services
The Site may link to or rely on third-party websites and services (see A6, and links such as LinkedIn). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Accessing them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
B9. Availability and changes to the Tools
The Tools are offered free of charge and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any Tool or the entire Site at any time, without notice or liability. We do not guarantee that any Tool will remain available.
B10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version, and changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Tools after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
B11. Governing law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for any dispute, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the mandatory laws of your own country of residence.
B12. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of this Policy is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect, and the unenforceable provision will be applied to the maximum extent permissible. This Policy is the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Tools and supersedes any prior understanding on that subject.
13. Contact
