Middle of Funnel (MOFU)

Middle of Funnel (MOFU) is the consideration stage where prospects who are already aware of their problem evaluate possible solutions. MOFU marketing nurtures that interest with comparisons, case studies, webinars, and gated content that builds trust, demonstrates fit, and qualifies intent before a buying decision.

At this stage the audience is smaller but more engaged than at the top of the funnel. The job is to move prospects from curiosity to serious evaluation, often through lead nurturing sequences and content that addresses specific objections and use cases.

A common pitfall is leaving a gap between awareness and decision, so warm prospects stall. Strong MOFU content connects the broad interest created earlier to the conversion-focused bottom of the funnel.
